Open Atlas → Settings. Export world is at the bottom of the world-settings column, below Intimacy.
.md file. If clipboard access is unavailable, you can still use this download.Export reads currently saved authored text. Save pending edits first; exporting never saves them silently. The buttons are unavailable while Atlas has pending changes or is saving.
You must own the original authored world. Existing owned worlds qualify too; it is not limited to newly created worlds or worlds with a new origin marker.
Community clones, previews, starter worlds and tutorial worlds are excluded. This includes a clone of your own published world: use the original authored world instead. Editing, renaming or restarting a community clone does not make it eligible.
Readable entity headings and named field bullets cover saved world lore, supported NPC profiles, factions, enemies and variants, locations with named parent/floor/room paths, and editor-visible lorebook fields. References use names rather than raw record IDs. Empty sections are omitted. There are no HTML anchors or geometry appendices.
The document does not include map placement data such as coordinates, footprints or boundaries, raw map JSON, play history, or a restorable backup. It cannot restore the world or be imported as a complete world.
Not every authored field is included: NPC Player Backstory (playerRelationshipSeed) and Travel Schedule (travelSchedule) are currently absent from whole-world export. Keep those separately if you need them. Individual NPC profile Copy has a different scope.
