Settings

Atlas → Settings (the gears on the Command Deck, or press 6). It has two halves, saved in different places.

World settings

These belong to the world and apply on every device. Choose Save in the Atlas to keep your changes.

Art Model: which image model paints new images in this world. See Image models and art styles.
Art Style: the look applied to new images.
Map Theme: how the map is drawn: inked Parchment, dark Modern or a Holographic grid. Each genre has its own default. It only changes the look.
Story Moments: on or off. See Story Moments.
Random encounters: Off, Low, Normal or High. See Encounters.
Disable NPC combat: keep confrontations in the conversation instead of the battle screen.
Intimacy: Off, Suggestive or Detailed. See Content settings and safety.

Story Moments and Intimacy aren't shown on the free plan.

These apply to every world, but only in this browser. They take effect straight away.

Accent color: recolor the game's gold highlights (Classic Tan, Harbor Blue, Neon Pink, Colony Teal, or your own). It applies to in-world screens.
Graphics quality: Low, Medium or High. Higher settings add richer paper and watercolor detail. Lower it first if the map feels slow or your phone runs warm. The map redraws when you change it.
Film grain: a subtle texture over conversations.
Dialogue speed: 1x, 2x or 3x, how quickly a reply plays out once it arrives. It doesn't make replies arrive faster.
Classic combat (random rolls): replace the timing gauge with random rolls.
