Buddy

Buddy is RPBuddy's in-app helper. Ask it how anything in the game works.

Where to find it

Inside a world, choose the question mark in the icon column (top-right on desktop, top-left on mobile).

What it knows

Buddy knows these docs and the FAQ. It doesn't see your world, so ask it how things work rather than about your own characters or places.

When it isn't sure, it says so and points you to the closest docs page.

What it can do

• Answer questions: "How do I add rooms to a building?", "Why didn't my character remember that?"
• Show me: some answers open the right part of the Atlas and highlight the control you need. This isn't available while you're in a conversation.
• Read more and Open FAQ take you to the full page.
• Rate an answer with thumbs up or down, and Clear chat to start over.

Limits

You can ask Buddy up to 30 questions a day. The count resets at midnight UTC.
