Share your world in the Community Hub so other players can play their own copy.
Before you start
You need a creator profile. You'll be asked to claim a handle the first time you publish. See
Your creator profile.
You can publish worlds you built. A world you copied from the Hub can't be republished.
Each world can have one publication at a time.
Publishing
On the dashboard, open your world card's menu and choose Publish.
Public Title: what players see in the Hub.
Description: what your world is about, and what makes it worth exploring.
Tags: up to five, from Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Modern, Historical, Horror, Post-Apocalyptic, Urban, Rural, Political,
Cozy, Dark and Whimsical.
Include lorebook entries: players who copy your world get your lore too.
Banner image: the picture that headlines your world card and share page. If you don't pick one, one is chosen
for you.
Preview characters: the cast shown on your world page, in the order you pick them. If you don't pick any, a
default cast is shown.
Then confirm the checklist, Before You Submit:
no NSFW, explicit or graphic content
no copyrighted characters, settings or IP
no real people or their likenesses
it's your original creation
Choose I Understand — Submit for Review.
Review
What you submit is a frozen snapshot of your world as it is right now. The published copy uses the Suggestive
intimacy setting.
The RPBuddy team reviews it, and you'll get a notification either way:
Approved: your world goes live in the Hub, and people who follow you are told.
Rejected: the notification includes a note explaining why. Fix it and submit again.
After it's live
Your creator profile shows each world's status: Live, In review, Unpublished or Rejected.
Manage (on your creator profile) changes the title, description, banner and featured characters. The banner
and cast come from your approved snapshot.
Account → My Published Worlds lets you Edit the title and description, or Remove the world from the Hub.
Changes to your own world don't reach the published copy. To share an update, remove the old publication and
submit again.
Removing a world takes it out of the Hub. Players who already copied it keep their copies.
What players see
Your world page shows the cover, description, tags, featured cast, and how many plays, likes and comments it has,
with your handle and a link to your profile. Anyone can preview it, even without an account. See
Playing community worlds.
