Choosing your language
Use the language switcher on the dashboard (or the landing page, docs and other public pages). It isn't inside
worlds: choose your language before you go in.
New accounts start in your browser's language when it's one of these seven.
What follows your language
The interface, these docs, the FAQ and the legal pages.
Everything the AI writes: what characters say, the characters, places and profiles it generates, memories,
summaries, the Journal, and Buddy's answers.
Overnight events and daily life in your world use the language you last played that world in.
What stays as it is
Content already written stays in the language it was written in. Switching languages changes what's written
from then on.
Names and currency names aren't translated.
Settlement templates and quick-option buildings are written in English.
A few newer parts of the interface may still appear in English.

Write lorebook keywords in the language you play in, since they're matched against what you type. See
