1. Sign up

RPBuddy is free to start, and you don't need a card. This chapter takes you from the landing page to your dashboard.

Create your account

Choose Sign up on the landing page, or Play on any world in the Community Hub. The first time you arrive on the dashboard, you'll be asked to:

• confirm you're 18 or older
• accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• choose whether you'd like the occasional marketing email (optional)

Then choose Play Free to start on the free plan, or pick a paid plan.

What the free plan gives you

• AI actions every day. Conversations and AI generation (characters, buildings, profiles) share one daily pool. It resets at midnight UTC.
• Image credits for portraits and interiors. They refill on a rolling window.
• Unlimited worlds and unlimited building by hand.

Pick your language

The language switcher is in the dashboard's top bar. RPBuddy is available in English, Español, Français, Deutsch, 日本語, 한국어 and Português.

Your choice changes more than the menus. The characters you meet and everything the AI writes for you will be in that language too. See Languages.

Your dashboard

A short tour runs the first time you visit. Replay it any time with Learn (the graduation cap) in the top bar.

The rail on the left (a bar along the bottom on phones) holds:

• Your Worlds — the worlds you've made or copied from the Community Hub
• Characters — everyone from every world, in one place
• Gallery — every image you've generated
• NPC Memories — moments your characters remember, across all your worlds
• Account — opens Your profile (your public creator page) and Account (plan, credits, billing)

A new account starts with no worlds. That's the next chapter.

Switch the toolbar from Your Worlds to Community Hub to browse worlds other players have built. You can preview any of them before making your own. See Playing community worlds.
